AnswerFirst collects information you provide directly, including answers to questions about your court papers, case details you confirm, and contact information if you choose to provide it.

Court papers and sensitive information

If you upload court documents, those files may contain sensitive personal and financial information. We process uploaded files for the purpose of extracting case details to help you prepare your response. We do not use court document contents for advertising or unrelated purposes.

Fee Waiver Help

If you use the Fee Waiver Help feature, you may provide household income and financial information. This information is used only to help you organize a fee waiver request for the court. It is not shared with the opposing party and is not used for any other purpose.

How we use your information

  • To prepare your document packet based on the details you confirm
  • To show you your first-step plan and estimated timeline
  • To process payment if you choose to unlock your packet
  • To improve the product and fix bugs

We do not sell personal information

AnswerFirst does not sell personal information to third parties.

Data storage

Session data is currently stored locally in your browser. If you create an account, data may be stored on our servers. We use industry-standard security practices.
